Position Description
As a Builder you will oversee home construction from foundation to warranty service signoff. You are responsible for speed, quality, and budget. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating the activities of trades, inspectors, suppliers, and other staff on a daily basis.
• Constructing a quality home within prescribed procedures and time schedules while minimizing costs.
• Building rapport and maintaining customer satisfaction during the building process.
• Scheduling, instructing, managing, motivating, and inspecting the quality of the job performed by the subcontractors.
• Negotiating prices and working with the construction manager to establish labor budgets.
• Completing subcontractor payroll.
• Working closely with the sales consultant toward providing the homebuyer with the home they really want.
• Keeping continuous contact with the homebuyer in regard to custom options and buyer concerns.
• Coordinating and completing all homebuyer reviews.
• Maintaining a professional, organized, and safe job site.

Position Details:
Location: Tampa, FL
Salary: $50K-$55K base + Bonus. First year’s compensation should be around $70K + $350/month car allowance.
Travel Requirements: In the field daily
Training: Our client has built a reputation for excellence in Corporate training and on the job training.

Requirements:
• Must possess leadership representative of an O1 – O3 transitioning from the military.
• Must be organized and have the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, varying priorities, and ultimately meet deadlines/budgets.
• Must have a well-developed ability to problem solve with the ability to resolve issues as they arise.
• Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic who leads by example and readily assumes responsibility for results.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must have people management skills including the ability to train and mentor staff, delegate as required, complete performance reviews.
