  • Lead diverse teams in North America and Europe to coordinate and direct day-to-day operations for the units assigned to the Expeditionary Strike Group and partner commands. Advised the Battalion Commander regarding specific requirements for accuracy of target location assurance, target description, and duration the target was viable for targeting.
  • Lead teams of over 40 personnel as the lead planner, operations manager, and training coordinator for the execution of high profile amphibious exercises in the Baltic Sea region, resulting in attainment of 92% of training audience's goals and 100% of Commander's goals.
  • Directly manage over $4B in assets and over 5,000 people in two separate exercises. Evolutions require coordination of units/agencies in North America and throughout Europe. Efforts resulted in attaining political and training goals with no loss of personnel or equipment.

  • Monitored, coordinated, and directed air operations during deployments.
  • Led and managed a 26-person cross-functional team in the safe and effective control of aircraft throughout the preparation for and during a nine-month deployment, including high tempo combat operations, without a single loss of an aircraft. Aviation management tasks included directing several ships and dozens of aircraft both in planning and execution.
  • Responsible for the development, management, and administration of training programs designed to educate team members new to the unit and to provide continuing education/proficiency in required skill sets/tasks for the management of aviation operations in maritime and littoral environments.
  • Managed a cross-functional department of 14 personnel subdivided into two divisions.

Strategic Communications Operations Manager | 2006 - 2009

  • Monitored the operational use of communications and data systems supporting the nuclear deterrent, provided analysis of communications/data systems' and operators' effectiveness during operations, and provided corrective actions to correct problems and provide greater efficiencies.
  • Developed and executed Strategic Command's portions of nuclear related exercises, resulting in improvements to selected communications system effectiveness for day-to-day operations by 10%. This improvement brought selected systems into compliance with Department of Defense regulations.
  • Reorganized and improved a communications reliability program, reducing costs by $300K (approximately 10%) per year with no loss of efficiency in monitoring the operational effectiveness of radio and data communications systems.
