Position Description
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment and/or processes in your assigned area while working in partnership with production team members and area engineers. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring tool performance and scheduling and performing preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets.
• Using mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment issues.
• Assisting with equipment installs, testing equipment, creating and modifying equipment procedures, increasing tool uptime through systematic problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Performing quality workmanship.
• Documenting all maintenance performed in established check sheets and tracking programs and reviewing maintenance check sheets and procedures.
• Documenting all maintenance performed as well as monitoring, analyzing and addressing SPC issues daily.
• Keeping the Lead Technician and/or Lead Engineer updated on tool and area issues.

Position Details
Location: Lehi, Utah (30 minutes south of Salt Lake City)
Salary: $22-$23/hr plus significant OT due to compressed schedule, equates to over $55K in your first year before bonuses and additional perks. When you rotate onto a schedule that includes nights, you will receive 15% differential added to your base pay.
Shift Details: IM Flash Technologies is a 24-hour operation which requires shift work. You can expect to stay on the same shift schedule for at least 4 months. You must be flexible, and willing to work any shift.
Examples of typical shift patterns:
• Short Week - 3 days on (36 hours) with 4 days off
• Long Week - 4 days on (48 hours - includes 8 hours of overtime) with 3 days off
Benefits:
• Short term bonuses of 7% of your base, paid out biannually, and long term incentives, paid annually based on your position.
• Starting on day one, you will also be offered a generous, fully vested 401(k) package with 5% matching contribution by the company.
• Our client also pays you a relocation bonus (valued at up to $14,000) that is paid in cash even if you have the military move you.
• If you choose to have them move you instead, the company will provide a house hunting trip, 30 days of temporary housing, and they will assist with the costs of selling your current home or buying a new one (realtor fees, closing costs, etc.)

Requirements:
• Must have knowledge of AC/DC circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits.
• Must have an understanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving at an algebraic level.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Must have proven ability to troubleshoot problems and address root causes.
• Must have solid multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
• Must be familiar with data collection and analysis.
• Must have the ability to be flexible with job responsibilities and take the initiative to assume added responsibilities.
• Must have demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have basic understanding of physics and chemistry.

The Shift Engineer role is responsible for monitoring, sustaining and improving an assigned area while working with other Fabs to solve issues that affect multiple areas. In this role, you will address process and defect related issues based on the established Statistical Process Control (SPC) rules. You will be responsible for ensuring all Special Work Requests (SWRs) are processed correctly and in a timely manner, as well as support all Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities. The Shift Engineer is required to keep the Lead Engineer updated on all process related issues and long-term down status. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its applications in semiconductor equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of Fab processes and a basic understanding of probe and parameter functions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and strong data collection skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated teamwork skills with a strong focus on effective team dynamics.
• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to multitask.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and address root causes.

• Associate's degree in a related field (e.g. electronics, computer technology) or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of SPC principles and proper application.
• Intermediate data extraction, analysis and reporting skills.
• Solid time management and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize process flows.
• Understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes and photolithography equipment and processes.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry, electronics or optics.

• Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and with multiple complex projects.
