Position Description
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the production lines at the facility. Additional responsibilities will include:
• Improving the baseline value of key area metrics (yield, quality, capacity, attainment) toward entitlement values through individual and team contributions.
• Managing the activities of two Manufacturing Engineers.
• Monitoring raw material usage in area using SAP.
• Developing long-term solutions to eliminate recurring area process problems.
• Developing process packages to support capital projects.
• Ensuring accountability for area PHA's and Management of Change.
• Supporting company initiatives, improvement teams, and driving continuous improvement in the facility.
• Other work as required.

Position Details:
Location: Pottsville, PA
Salary: $90K-$110K

• Must have a Bachelors in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical preferred), Physical Sciences or equivalent.
• Must have a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience related to production or process engineering.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing the activities of other Engineers.
• Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a demonstrated track record of achieving results managing Continuous Improvement projects (yield, quality, production).
• Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
• Must have a demonstrated ability to use influencing skills to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities.
• Must be knowledgeable of plastic film extrusion or related converting activities.
