Position Description

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing field service domestically and internationally at times that are convenient to the customer for scheduled outages. Additional responsibilities include:
• Troubleshooting, performing emergency repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Modifying and upgrading products.
• Providing startup assistance/installation supervision.
• Training on all company’s products of both current and past vintages.
• Using various hand tools (personal property) and specialty tools (supplied by the company) on equipment, such as Circuit-Switchers and Metal-Enclosed Gear that are in a de-energized and grounded state.
• Performing work in accordance with OSHA and industry safety practices such as “Lock Out-Tag Out” and including utilization of extensive personal protective equipment.

Position Details

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Salary: $50K - $65K base
Shift Work: Day Shift
Supervisory: In this position, you will have minimal direct supervisory responsibilities; however self-leadership is a must
Travel Requirements: 70-80% domestic travel with occasional international travel
Benefits: All eligible employees participate in the same benefit plans, with no need to choose among plans. With exception to a wellness plan, there are no monthly premiums. A benefits package includes dental, disability, life insurance, 401(k), and much more.

Requirements:

• Must have 4+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring or maintenance of equipment, facilities or products.
• Must have superior verbal and written communication skills interacting with commercial partners, technical resources, and customers.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and a good credit record.
• Must have the ability to read mechanical drawings and possess excellent mechanical skills.
• Must be able to interpret electrical drawings and possess computer skills.
