Jim Freeze joins us after six years in the Army as an Armor Officer. He graduated from West Point in 2005 and serves as his Class President. After being commissioned, Jim attended the Maneuver Officer Basic Course and Scout Leader Course at Ft. Knox, KY before being assigned as a Recon Platoon Leader with the 4th Stryker Brigade (2ID) at Ft. Lewis, WA. He deployed during the Surge in 2007 with his platoon to Diyala Province for 14 months. He is a Purple Heart veteran and also earned an Army Commendation Medal with V device.
After returning stateside and doing a few months as a Battalion Adjutant, he elected to attend the Engineer Captain’s Career Course at Ft. Leonard Wood to be with his wife, Grace (an MP Officer and West Point classmate). Following the CCC, they relocated to Ft. Riley, KS and Jim was selected for a job as an Aide-de-Camp to one of the Deputy Commanding General’s of 1st Infantry Division for 18 months. He deployed again to Basra, Iraq as an Aide in January 2010, while the Division assumed control of the nine Southern Provinces of Iraq. Upon returning to the US in January 2011, Jim and his wife both began their transition out of the Army.
Jim took over for Schuyler Williamson as an Army Officer Recruiter in June 2011. He works with candidates who are 4-18 months from starting a new career and helps them during their transition.

Keri Price joins the Orion team after five years of active duty service as a Commissioned Officer. She graduated from Texas State University in 2008, and commissioned out of Army ROTC, Keri attended the Adjutant General Officer Basic Course at Ft. Jackson, SC and was then assigned to the 49th Quartermaster Group at Ft. Lee, VA.
During her tenure at Ft. Lee, Keri served as a Petroleum Supply Platoon Leader, Battalion S1, Brigade Strength Manager, and Brigade S1. She deployed to Haiti in early 2010 as a Battalion S1 in support of Operation Unified Response. After returning from her deployment, Keri served as the Brigade Strength Manager and inactivated ten companies. After serving as the Brigade S1 and Adjutant Keri decided to begin her transition out of the military in order to focus more on her family.
Keri took over for Brad Ward as an Army Officer Recruiter in October 2012. She works with candidates who are 4-18 months from transition in the South Central, West or Northwest regions who are starting a new career and helps them during their transition.
