Quality Manager

The Quality Manager ensures full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) as they apply to articles being maintained, repaired, or altered by the Repair Station. In this role, you will lead a team of Quality Inspectors.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable FARs, Quality Procedures (QPs) and Local Work Instructions
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the Quality Department and plan activities in conjunction with other departments
  • Develop and maintain inspection standards, methods, and procedures utilized by the Repair Station to comply with applicable FARs
  • Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action (CA) activity with Material Leader whenever vendor performance becomes questionable or a replacement vendor is needed
  • Manage Internal and External Assessment of the Quality System
  • Report audit findings to GM for Root Cause Analysis and initiation of effective Corrective Action
  • Ensure that calibration of precision test equipment is accomplished at regular intervals and maintains a record keeping system that ensures the established check periods are not exceeded
  • Manage final acceptance of incoming material including parts, supplies, and services performed by contract outside the facility
  • Ensure that Inspectors are trained on the proper techniques and inspection methods relative to their assigned duties

Salary: $85,000-$100,000, depending on experience

  • Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and decision making skills
  • Must have experience maintaining programs-supply, maintenance, aviation, engineering, transportation, or logistics and can work toward ISO 9000 quality systems

Customer Support Manager

The Customer Project Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the assigned project to ensure quality, schedules and budgets are achieved by coordinating with all departments supporting the project.

Responsibilities

  • Establish program plans and report progress including milestones, project budgets, certifications, material ordering processes, labor targets and Contract Change Orders (CCO)
  • Make decisions, carry out actions and directs others in matters related to the duties and goals of Program Management in coordination with appropriate Department Leader
  • Work across all departments to ensure that functional objectives are proactively met for production, procurement, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions
  • Generate sales by provide alternative solutions to customers regarding company capabilities and special programs and pricing incentives
  • Provide justification for deviations from the project plan and provide recovery strategy
  • Review invoices for accuracy and resole discrepancies and disputes
  • Act as the primary customer contact and ensure a successful customer experience
  • Observe and report any issues or concerns in regard to company-wide quality, environmental and Safety Management System [SMS] policies

Position Requirements

  • Must possess a BS in a Technical Discipline
  • Significant Project Management experience managing multiple, complex projects
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Previous hands-on experience as an Aviation (or similar) Technician is preferred.

Aircraft Mechanic

As an Aircraft Mechanic you will perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan and turboprop-powered corporate aircraft, to include troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft components and engines.

Responsibilities

  • Engine removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs
  • Perform maintenance, sequence, and techniques
  • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies

Salary: $45,000-$65,000 depending on experience

Position Requirements

  • Must possess 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably on turbofan and turboprop-powered aircraft
  • Jet engine experience is also desired
  • A&P is not required upon hire, but will be required within the targeted 12-18 months from your start date (StandardAero will reimburse you for the test)

Avionics Technician

As an Avionics Technician, you will have an opportunity to apply your training and experience to inspect, test, perform basic troubleshooting, repair, remove and replace aircraft instrument and avionics components and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, test and replace complex avionics and instrument wiring and systems installed in various airframes using hand tools, test equipment, technical documents, and technical reference materials
  • Inspect components and aircraft systems, ordering necessary parts to complete the job.
  • Assist bench technicians in the resolution of discrepancies in avionics and instrument components and systems removed from aircraft
  • Accompany flight crews to perform in-flight troubleshooting and adjustments and performs preflight evaluations of avionics and instrument systems
  • Professionally communicate with the internal and external customers to educate and answers questions regarding the technical functions of the customer's aircraft, schedule and status.
  • Maintain and clean line maintenance test equipment and work area as required
  • Operate ground support equipment, as necessary
  • Attend factory and Company technical classes and participates in OJT to increase technical skills and proficiency

Salary: $26-$28/hour plus OT

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an Avionics Technician with exceptional troubleshooting skills
  • A&P will be required within the targeted 12-18 months from start date; reimbursement for the test is provided
  • Capable of handling complex, time sensitive, and pressure situations
