Position Description
As a Sales Representative for Sun Chemical, you will be responsible for managing, selling and providing general support to a designated customer base, in addition to new business opportunities. This Sales Representative position will have a specific territory. S/he will have responsibility for growing sales volume. The incumbent is responsible for establishing and maintaining share in this market by selling consultatively.

Additional Responsibilities
• Acting as a consultative representative to the customer.
• Developing account management strategies and identifying key buying factors, stakeholders/gatekeepers and decision makers' value propositions and plan to capture the value created.
• Setting volume/revenue/margin targets.
• Gathering and verifying information about the customer, basic market strategy, vendor expectations and the customers' competition.
• Managing competition, recognizing strengths/weaknesses in order to protect existing customer base while capturing new business.
• Negotiating and managing internal/external relationships while servicing the customers' needs and coordinating with in-house personnel to achieve the desired results.
• Making calls at scheduled frequencies to solicit business with individual technical groups, purchasing and other stakeholders who influence buying decisions.
• Meeting or exceeding budgeted targets by pursuing new business opportunities and building sales, profits, margins of the existing account base.
• Assisting in the introduction of trial and new products.

Regional Inplant Operations Manager

Position Description
As a Regional Inplant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing approximately ten customer inplant operation sites located in your assigned region. You will have overall responsibility for operating expenses, employee development, implementing standard procedures, KPI reporting and safety.

Position Details
Travel Requirements: Travel as required to support customer service, inplant operations, and employee development requirements. This will be within your assigned region, including some day travel and overnight travel. Travel requirements will be 50-70%, primarily during the week.

Additional Responsibilities
• Scheduling coverage of inplant operations during vacation, holidays, etc. May require active participation in operational positions.
• Acting as point person in operational inplant matters for the customer and Sun Chemical.
• Coordinating with Sales, Customer Technical Service, and CSC leadership to ensure proper technical and product support at the accounts in the region.
• Implementing and controlling standardization of inplant procedures including color matching, technical QC procedures, inventory control, work-off and recycle programs, customer billing, ink formula control, and directs new inplant requirements.
• Visiting all inplant locations on a regular basis, with the intent of coaching, training, reducing costs and building value.
• Performing annual operational audits of inplants in region.
• Taking leadership role in continuous process improvement.
• Conducting audits, and coordinates with the sales team to estimate equipment and manning requirements for potential business.
• Supervising Inplant Supervisors and Technicians including communicating their employee evaluations.
• Directing training and employee development programs.
• Interviewing, hiring, recommending and conducting performance improvement plants, terminations, performance evaluations and recommending salary adjustments and promotions for inplant personnel.
• Setting up new inplants, including hiring of personnel, training and procedures.

Position Requirements
• Undergraduate degree.
• Must have excellent leadership and customer service experience.
• Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills and be familiar with inventory control techniques.
• Good color eye.
• A logistics/ material management background is preferred.
• Exposure to ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software of some kind is a huge plus, with SAP exposure preferred.
• Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, or process improvement is highly preferred.

Inplant Supervisor

Position Description
As an Inplant Supervisor, you will manage one of Sun Chemical's Inplant operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage anywhere from two to six hourly ink technicians while providing exceptional customer service to Sun's client that the inplant supports.

Additional Responsibilities
• Measuring and managing operational performance and provide direction and leadership to your assigned Inplant Technicians.
• Performing color matching as required.
• Liaising with customer leadership team with daily communication.
• Maintaining detailed production and QC records to assist in operational effectiveness.
• Managing the inplant supply line for one or more product lines.
• Deploying continuous improvement techniques for operational enhancement.
• Submitting monthly VOC and operational KPI documents, generated from SAP and customer tracking system.
• Coordinating all CTS support for trials and customer training.
• Furthering development of inplant staff through training both OJT and formal.
• Maintaining and supporting our customers' schedule through production coordination.
• Ability to strong press-side technical service, troubleshoot problems and keep site informed through detailed and consistent technical reporting.
• Maintaining the highest of housekeeping and safe operating standards, ensuring that all Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT requirements are met in accordance with Federal, State and Corporate guidelines.
• Maintaining monthly and weekly ISO reporting to CSC.
• Using SAP to manage inventory, production, ordering and posting of goods.

Position Requirements
